Guardian (Imazethapyr 10% SL)

MODE OF ACTION
Guardian works by inhibiting the enzyme acetohydroxyacid synthase (AHAS), which is essential for the synthesis of amino acids in plants. When the enzyme is blocked, the growth of targeted weeds is halted, leading to their eventual death. This selective action ensures that the main crops are unaffected, while only the unwanted weeds are controlled. Guardian’s systemic nature allows it to be absorbed by the roots and shoots of the weeds, providing thorough and long-lasting control.

- Targa Super is strictly not recommended on paddy, wheat, sorghum, maize, barley, pearl millet, sugarcane crop.
- Targa Super is recommended at 500-600 ml for control of perennial weeds like Kans and Doob.
