Jenga (Chlorantraniliprole 18.5% SC)
Jenga is a highly effective insecticide that contains the active ingredient Chlorantraniliprole 18.5% SC. This insecticide belongs to the anthranilic diamides class and is derived from the natural plant extract Ryania speciosa. Jenga is effective in controlling a variety of pests, including larvae of moths, butterflies, certain beetles, and aphids. It is especially potent against key pests found in rice and sugarcane crops. In rice, Jenga effectively controls stem borers and leaf folders, while in sugarcane, it is highly effective against early shoot borers and top borers, safeguarding the crops and enhancing yield.
MODE OF ACTION
Jenga acts by targeting the ryanodine receptors in the muscles of insects, disrupting calcium ion flow, which leads to paralysis and eventual death of the pests. Its unique mode of action makes it highly selective and safe for beneficial insects, while providing long-lasting control over harmful pests. It effectively protects crops from damage caused by pests at various stages of growth, ensuring healthy crop development and higher productivity.
