Fipronil 40% + Imidacloprid 40% WG
Maruna is a highly effective, dual-action insecticide formulated with a combination of Fipronil (40%) and Imidacloprid (40%). It comes in Water Dispersible Granules (W.G.) form, ensuring easy mixing and application. Maruna targets a wide range of crop-damaging pests, including aphids, jassids, thrips, and whiteflies. It offers dual protection by working on contact and being absorbed by the plant, providing both surface and systemic action. This ensures that pests are effectively controlled, whether they come in contact with the insecticide or feed on treated plants. Maruna enhances crop health by protecting against pest infestations that could cause significant yield losses.
MODE OF ACTION
Maruna works by combining Fipronil and Imidacloprid, which together target the nervous system of insects. Fipronil disrupts GABA receptors, leading to overexcitation in the insect’s nervous system, causing paralysis and death. Meanwhile, Imidacloprid interferes with nicotinic receptors, blocking nerve signal transmission and resulting in paralysis. This dual-action approach ensures quick and effective pest control.

- Targa Super is strictly not recommended on paddy, wheat, sorghum, maize, barley, pearl millet, sugarcane crop.
- Targa Super is recommended at 500-600 ml for control of perennial weeds like Kans and Doob.
